PRESIDENT Ann Marie Lander is licensed fiduciary and National Certified Guardian with Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community. She worked for 6 years in the Maricopa County Public Fiduciary office after 11 years of working in the private fiduciary sector. Shortly after joining the Public Fiduciary’s office, she joined the management team in efforts of educating the new and aspiring fiduciaries. Ann has extensive background working with all vulnerable populations, ranging from cases of exploitation, the elderly population, SMI populations, and the DDD population. Prior to her fiduciary experience, Ann worked in non-profit community-based programs advocating for seniors to maintain independence as long as possible. VICE PRESIDENT Kallie KnightKallie has over 25 years of experience as an elder law paralegal and 8 years in fiduciary practice, with a career focus in probate estate & trust administration and litigation, guardianships, conservatorships, estate planning, financial exploitation and elder Abuse. She previously worked with some of the most respected attorneys in the valley before attaining her fiduciary license in 2022. Kallie holds an active fiduciary license, is a board member of the Arizona Fiduciaries Association and an active member of the National Guardian Association and the Maricopa County Bar Association’s Paralegal Division, Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Sections. Kallie was recognized by the Arizona Fiduciaries Association as the 2025 recipient of the Rising Star of Excellence Award for showing exemplary promise and service as a licensed fiduciary. TREASURER
Tara Lara | United Fiduciary Group, LLC
Tara Lara is the Founder and Principal Fiduciary of United Fiduciary Group, LLC. She began her fiduciary career in 2014 and became an Arizona Licensed Fiduciary in 2018. Her experience includes trust and estate administration, guardianship and conservatorship matters, financial management, court-supervised matters, court accountings, and tax-related fiduciary issues.
Tara became an Enrolled Agent in 2019 and brings a strong background in accounting and taxation to her fiduciary practice. She has more than a decade of experience working with complex financial, administrative, and fiduciary matters. Tara is also an active member of the Arizona Fiduciaries Association and National Guardianship Association.
SECRETARY Immediate Past President Kathryn Blair is a licensed fiduciary and has served as the Director of the Yavapai County Public Fiduciary since 2018. Kathryn holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the Whittier College School of Law in CA. Prior to relocating to AZ in 2016, she had an extensive career in the compliance sector of the financial services industry. Kathryn is also a member of the National Guardianship Association, the AHCCCS Behavioral Health Planning Council, and is an adjunct instructor in the paralegal studies program at Yavapai College in Prescott, AZ.
Lindsay M. Brown| Condit and Associates, LLC Certified Paralegal, Licensed Fiduciary #20928 (2020), AAS Paralegal Studies, BS in Criminology. Ten plus years’ experience in trust, probate, and estate administration. Roles including estate administrator, paralegal within real estate law, constitutional law, bankruptcy, and elder law. Tara Lowman-Rojas joined the Maricopa County Public Fiduciary in August of 2018 as a Fiduciary Trainee. She became a licensed fiduciary in 2020 and served in multiple roles, including Probate Administrator and Fiduciary Supervisor, before moving into her current position as Fiduciary Manager. Before entering the fiduciary practice, Tara worked in residential, clinic, hospital, and community settings with those impacted by mental illness, substance use, and unstable housing. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University. In addition to her work as a licensed fiduciary, Tara is passionate about dogs, fermented foods, plants, and transformative justice. Rachel Murguia |Maricopa County Public Fiduciary Rachel Murguia serves as Deputy Director of the Maricopa County Public Fiduciary and is an Arizona Licensed Fiduciary. She brings more than 20 years of experience in public fiduciary and social services, with a career dedicated to protecting and advocating for vulnerable individuals. Since joining Maricopa County in 2010, Rachel has served in progressively responsible roles spanning financial operations, estate administration, field fiduciary services, benefits, administrative operations, and organizational leadership. Her experience has provided her with a broad understanding of court-appointed fiduciary practice, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and the complex responsibilities involved in guardianship and conservatorship services. Daniel Roberts |Coventry, Vernon, & Roberts, LLC Daniel is a Partner and Director for Coventry, Vernon, & Roberts, LLC, a private fiduciary firm in Maricopa County. As a licensed fiduciary, Daniel leads our team in all aspects of estate administration in addition to his duties as a partner of the firm. Before joining the firm in 2021, Daniel worked for 20+ years for a diverse range of organizations, including Honeywell International, Intuit, and Rural Metro Corporation. Daniel is a father of six children, a Certified Public Accountant in Arizona, and holds Master in Business Administration from W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Daniel’s varied background and leadership in accounting, finance, taxes, and real estate provided the perfect foundation for directing the estate services at the firm. |
